Semaglutide Blood Clots Side Effects: Ozempic, Rybelsus, and Wegovy

July 23, 2024 By Law Offices of Thomas J. Lamb, P.A.

We have been receiving reports of people diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), portal vein thrombosis (PVT), and ischemic stroke as possible semaglutide blood clots side effects. Ozempic, Rybelsus, and Wegovy are drugs with semaglutide as their active ingredient.

Semaglutide Blood Clots Side Effects: DVT and Pulmonary Embolism

Here are some reports of DVT and pulmonary embolism involving the semaglutide drugs Ozempic, Rybelsus, or Wegovy that we have received in the past several months:

Ozempic – Deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism were diagnosed after using Ozempic for 2 months (66-year-old woman).

Ozempic – Pulmonary embolism (PE) and DVT were diagnosed after using Ozempic for 1 year (53-year-old man).

Ozempic – Blood clots in both lungs, which is a bilateral pulmonary embolism, were diagnosed using Ozempic for 2 months (46-year-old woman).

Rybelsus – DVT was diagnosed after using Rybelsus for 1 month (62-year-old woman).

Semaglutide Blood Clots Side Effects: Other Medical Conditions

Here are some reports of other blood clot conditions involving the semaglutide drugs Ozempic, Rybelsus, or Wegovy that we have received in the past several months:

Ozempic – Blood clot in the portal vein, or portal vein thrombosis (PVT), was diagnosed after using Ozempic for 2 weeks (44-year-old woman).

Wegovy – Ischemic stroke was diagnosed after using Wegovy for 3 months (45-year-old man).

We are investigating possible Ozempic, Rybelsus, and Wegovy drug injury lawsuits for people diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis (DVT), pulmonary embolism (PE), portal vein thrombosis (PVT), ischemic stroke, and other semaglutide blood clots side effects.

Let us know if we can assist you or someone you know with an Ozempic, Rybelsus, and Wegovy blood clot side effect. One way to do this is to submit an online Case Evaluation Form.
